Yes it’s that time of the year again! Shadowsflyaway’s birthday! So no Symbol of the Month this month but instead a birthday greeting from me to you.

The image comes from St Margaret’s cemetery, Maidstone Road, Rochester, Kent UK. As you can see it features two angels holding a woman, her hands clasped in prayer and looking heavenwards. She stands on clouds and they are helping her on her way towards eternal life.

The grave is dedicated to a woman appropriately enough and it’s a lovely little tableau.
